Welcome, I'm Callie!

Growing up, I never really knew what I wanted to do. My career behind a camera happened slowly and steadily until I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

I grew up in St. Martins, New Brunswick, where my school had a view of the Bay of Fundy. I am the oldest of three, which means my leadership skills have been developing for 23-ish years. I now live in Hampton, New Brunswick, with my husband, Josh, and golden retriever, Seger.

My middle name is Joan. I've always loved the name, and, for many years, wished it were my first name. Sort of like Anne begging to be called Cordelia. Instead of a dramatic name change, I incorporated it into my business.

HOW I GOT STARTED WITH PHOTOGRAPHY

Although it feels like I was born with a camera in my hand, my photography took off in high school with yearbook and video competitions. After high school, I pursued my passion and went to DaVinci College in Fredericton, New Brunswick, to study Film & Media Productions.

Since college, I have been working full-time in marketing and communications and fulfilling my photography passion on evenings and weekends.

Photography has always been and will always be what sets my soul on fire. It brings me endless joy to capture your happiest moments and tell your stories through my camera.

my approach to your wedding

Organized & organic

I love to live and capture in the moment but I also thrive off of working efficiently. With me as your photographer, you can expect an interesting combination of detail and creativity.

I enjoy creating connections with my couples where we can have mutual trust. This allows your genuine spirit and love to be captured most authentically.

I'm outgoing, bubbly, and enjoy chatting with guests and family members. It's very normal for me to leave your wedding giving my tablemates a handshake or hug, now knowing their connection to you, where they work, and their plans the rest of the summer. For me, your wedding is much more than the pictures you will receive, it's the experience for both of you and myself.

I commit to a limited amount of weddings per year. I value taking my time with each couple and having breathing room for my creativity. This allows me to take care of each couple how I want to. I’m not a wedding machine and nor do I want your wedding to be a cookie cutter experience.

We might not be a good fit if you're looking to recreate a Pinterest board or have a list of specific poses. I work best when I don't feel confined to a certain look. Let me draw inspiration from your unique story.
